WE WILL TRY TO HAVE MALE AND A FEMALE PLAYER PAIRED TOGETHER WHERE POSSIBLE. SHOULD THIS NOT BE POSSIBLE, THERE MAY BE (as in the past) TWO MALES OR TWO FEMALES PLAYING TOGETHER.

WE WILL IF POSSIBLE HAVE A NEW PLAYER PAIRED WITH A ORE EXPERIENCED PLAYER.

PAIRS: DOES NOT MEAN YOU CANNOT ENTER IF YOU ARE NOT SIGNED IN AS A PAIR

The Friday sessions will start on Friday 5th April at 6pm. Go along and have some fun!

New Members Welcome

We are a community based club and extend a warm welcome to new members of ALL AGES and skill levels from ‘never played before’ to experienced club players.

Ex ‘flat green’ and U3A players particularly welcomed.

To assist potential members to assess if this sport is for ‘YOU’ the club will run Beginners Training / Introduction Sessions on Saturday or Sunday afternoons when sufficient ‘applicants’  have indicated that they would like to attend. These sessions will only be run if the weather permits so please do not turn up if it is raining. 

Please note that any non-member under the age of eighteen MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The club runs 12 teams in 5 bowling leagues so if you get ‘bitten’ there are ample opportunities to play competitive bowls. Two of the leagues play in the evenings, two weekday afternoons and one on Saturday afternoons. The club would love to get enough junior members to enter them into a junior league and that means finding at least 12 under eighteens so if you know anyone who might be interested please use the ‘ContactUs’ button and we will get back to you.  

The bowling site is set in very inviting surroundings as can be seen in the pictures.
